Tuition Waivers

In certain cases, you may be hired to perform specific services for the University for which you may receive tuition waivers.

Recommendations for the granting of tuition waivers are made by graduate program directors to the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies. In such cases, the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies may give a tuition waiver at the rate of one semester hour of credit for two hours of service per week per semester.

Tuition waivers are deemed to be taxable as they are considered a fee for service.
