David Killian Name: David Killian
Degree Program: MBA in Pharmaceutical Business
Graduating: 2009

Why I chose USP

I was looking for something to advance my career to the next level. Since I graduated from USP in 1993 with my pharmacy degree, it seemed like a natural progression to go back to USP to pursue my graduate studies.

What I like best about my program

The program is full of past, present, and future leaders of the pharmaceutical industry. The teaching staff is very knowledgeable regarding various aspects of the industry, from drug regulation to working in big pharma.

Current research interests

I am currently working on a Capstone course. The course focus is to plan and execute a sample State of the Art Capstone course curriculum that captures learnings from the entire MBA program and applies them in a real world scenario of a presentation of an opportunity to a corporate Portfolio Management Committee.

How this program will help me professionally

The future of the pharmaceutical industry will be much different from how it is today due to impending legislation. My degree will give e invaluable insight into the industry and allow me to rise above the competition to attain my aspirations of influencing the future of the industry.

Other things I want people to know about USP

The International Pharmaceutical Business course will be exciting and extrememly educational.
