Pharmacy Administration Program Overview

The graduate program in pharmacy administration at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia is designed to prepare you for a responsible leadership position in research, and/or management in health care institutions, academia, industry, or government. This includes career opportunities in universities, pharmaceutical firms, managed care organizations, health insurance companies, professional societies, government, and international agencies.

Major areas of study and research in the pharmacy administration program include pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research, quality of life, decision analysis, and health management. Additional domains of research include managed care, marketing, pharmaceutical policy, and utilization review.

USP is strategically located near several major health science centers, business schools, public agencies, and international pharmaceutical firms with numerous collaborative arrangements for learning and research.
